Colleen Riley makes wheel-thrown and altered porcelain and stoneware. Her pots are often carved and incised with colored slips. She uses translucent glazes to enhance the depth and surface of the piece. Her work is currently shown at the Northfield (MN) Arts Guild, and SEMVA Gallery in Rochester, MN.

Donovan Palmquist also makes wheel-thrown and altered pieces with stoneware clay. His pots are elaborately layered with multiple glazes and fired in a soda kiln to create rich surfaces. His work is currently shown at the Northern Clay Center in Minneapolis. |
